be happy 2
"I'm bringing you a chilled lemonade here..."
"That's alright, we're already drinking it – it’s super refreshing..."🍹👍

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

David had all kinds of opposition coming against him, people slandering him, family problems, but in the middle of it all he wrote today’s Scripture. If he was reporting on his circumstances, he would have said, “The Lord made this day, but I have so many problems.” Instead, David was making a declaration of faith: “Despite the opposition, people lying about me, or my family not believing in me, I’m going to live this day happy.”😁

If you’re going to be happy, you have to be happy on purpose, because there will be betrayals, delays, and all kinds of things that can cause you to live sour.😒 You have to say:
“I’m not letting what’s not working out or other people or problems to steal my joy. I will rejoice. I will be glad. I will live this day happy.” ✨Know that your will is more powerful than how you feel.✨ You have to decide first, then happiness will come. You control your happiness. It’s not up to anyone else. You’re as happy as you want to be. It's up to YOU.👍

Prayer for Today

“Father, Thank You that You have given me this day as a gift to live for You. Thank You that my happiness today is not dependent upon anyone else or upon my circumstances. I will rejoice, I will be glad, and I will make the most of this day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.

David v ochrannem zlatem kruhu

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

When David was alone in the fields shepherding his father’s sheep, no one criticized or opposed him. But after he killed Goliath and became an overnight hero, King Saul became so jealous of David’s success that he eventually threw a spear at him, trying to kill him. David dodged that spear but had to keep dodging spears, doing the right thing when Saul chased him through the desert.

When God’s favor is on your life and gives you more influence, small-minded people will throw spears at you that you need to keep dodging. They’ll be critical of you, say mean things about you, and treat you wrong. There will be plenty of opportunities to get baited into conflict, pick up their spears and throw them back. 😁 You have to get to the point where you’re not moved by persecution.😉 When those spears start coming, that means you’re about to take the throne as David did. If you keep dodging the spears, overlooking the wrongs, and staying on the high road, God will take care of your Sauls.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the favor and blessings that You have given me. Help me to remember that with the blessing comes persecution, opposition, and adversaries. I declare that I’m going to keep dodging the spears and letting You take care of my Sauls. In Jesus’ Name, Amen."

Today's Scripture 96

1 Samuel 18:8, NLT

This made Saul very angry. “What’s this?” he said. “They credit David with ten thousands and me with only thousands. Next they’ll be making him their king!”

Nothing to Prove

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

Years ago, a friend invited me to come to his house after we played basketball at the gym, so I jumped in the car with him. He had a really beautiful sports car. As we were driving to his house, I noticed he was taking the long way. He could have saved a few miles taking the direct route. I asked why he didn’t go the easy way. He said, “My ex-girlfriend lives on this street. I always drive by to make sure she sees what she’s missed out on.” They had been broken up for almost ten years, but every chance he got, he still went out of his way to prove that she was missing out, to prove that he was successful, to prove that he was happy without her. What’s funny is that he found out later she had moved across town years earlier. All that time he was driving by, proving his point, she wasn’t even there.

I wonder how many times we’re trying to prove something to someone and the person isn’t even paying attention. We’re trying to impress people who don’t even care. We’re competing with someone who doesn’t even know we’re competing. Yes, it’s good to have goals, it’s good to have people who challenge us and inspire us to go further, but we’re not going to be blessed if our motives are not pure. When our motive in trying to impress someone is to feed our ego, to pay them back, to show them how great we are, or to make up for our lack of self-worth, that’s a dead-end street. Let God fight your battles. Let Him promote you. Let Him vindicate you. His favor upon us is not so we can prove that we’re talented or as good as someone else. It’s to fulfill our assignment. It’s to advance the Kingdom.

How much time and energy are you spending trying to feel good enough, talented enough, smart enough, worthy enough? It’s not worth it. Try a different approach. Come out from under the pressure of striving and working. You have nothing to prove. What people think about you doesn’t determine your destiny. Accomplishing more is nice, but it’s not going to make you more valuable. Your income may increase, but your value is not going to increase.

Don’t get baited into being competitive, trying to outperform, thinking that’s going to give you more worth. Run your race. Stay focused on what you’re called to do. Don’t live for other people’s applause; live for God’s applause.

Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father,

I know in my heart that I am approved by You, the Most High God. You, the Almighty Creator, formed me in the womb and knew me even before I was born. Thank You for calling me Your beloved child and that I no longer have to strive to prove myself to others. I am going to run the race You have put in front of me, embracing every challenge as an opportunity for growth. With Your grace, I will overcome every adversity that comes my way. You have equipped me with unique gifts to fulfill the dreams You have placed within my heart. Today, I boldly declare that I will become all that You created me to be. With Your guidance and love, I will shine brightly, inspiring others to find hope and purpose. In the precious Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Today's Scripture 61

Hebrews 12:1–2, NIV

Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Today's Word:

It’s so easy to always be focused on the destination, the dream coming to pass, the problem turning around.

✨ You have to learn to enjoy 😀 where you are while you’re on the way to where you’re going. 🚶 ✨

Life is not about the destination; it’s about the journey. That’s where you’ll grow. That’s where you’ll see fulfillment and the favor of God.
We have to remember that after we reach a goal, there will be another goal. There’ll be another challenge. 🚀 If we’re not careful, we’ll rush through the day trying to get to the destination. Slow down and enjoy the journey. Yes, there will be bumps in the road, disappointments, things you don’t understand. That’s when you have to say: “I’m not looking back. I’m not getting bitter and letting that sour my life. I’m not going to live worried, wondering how it’s going to work out. I’m going to stay in the present. I’m going to enjoy where God has me right now, knowing that He will get me to where I’m supposed to be. 😀
It takes maturity to enjoy where you are, even though you have challenges and things you don’t understand.
In Genesis 41, thirteen years after Joseph was thrown into the pit, he was made prime minister of Egypt. He saw vindication, promotion, and influence greater than he’d ever imagined. What a shame if Joseph had spent those past years discouraged, worried, and frustrated. What God promised you is going to come to pass. The dream He put in your heart is already on the schedule:

The question is, how are you spending the time while you’re waiting?

Are you looking back with regret? Are you excited 😀📈 or wondering why it’s not happening? 📉😣
Stay in the present. Take it one day at a time.
You don’t have grace for tomorrow. If you’re trying to figure out the past twenty years or the next twenty years, you’re going to be frustrated.
You have grace for this day. When you get to tomorrow, there will be grace for that day.

Prayer for Today:
“Dear God,
Thank You for this amazing day You’ve given me. I’m grateful for everything I have right now. Please help me to focus on what’s happening today and not worry about the past or the future. I want to be fully present with my family and not be distracted by other things. Please show me how to balance my goals and dreams with appreciating the things I already have. I don’t want to take anything or anyone for granted. Help me to enjoy my life and to be happy with what I have. I trust that You will guide me and take care of everything. I give You all my worries and fears. Thank You for always being there for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

One of the best things I’ve learned is to trust God’s timing and His ways. What God promised will come to pass. But it may not happen the way you think, and it may not be when you had planned. If you’re trying to control the outcome and the time frame, you’re going to live worried. You have to release control. You have to let go of having to have it happen your way.

God already has what’s upsetting you figured out. He knows the end from the beginning. But here’s the key: He doesn’t give you the details. If you knew how everything was going to work out, it wouldn’t take faith. If He told you, “Three months from now, a big door is going to open. It may look as though you’re going backward, but there’s a shortcut that’s going to put you ahead.” You would relax and say, “Okay, it’s all going to work out.” Why don’t you do that now? God has it all planned out. He’s doing things you can’t see. There are good breaks coming. The healing, the favor, and the right people are already on your schedule. If you release control of what is troubling you, you can enjoy your life while you’re waiting for things to change. What’s upsetting you? What’s keeping you awake at night? God is saying, “Release it to Me. I’m in control. I’m ordering your steps. I’m working behind the scenes. It may not be good yet, but I’m going to turn it for your good.”

Once you’ve believed, you don’t have to figure everything out. If you don’t see anything changing, you’ll be tempted to worry, but stay at rest. When you’re at rest, you’re showing God that you trust Him. Maybe you’re believing for your health to improve, but the medical report is not getting better. You thought it would have happened by now. You could be worried and complaining, but instead you’re thanking God, you’re declaring His promises, you’re being your best each day. When you’re at rest, you’re in faith. That’s what allows God to work.

But if you’re upset over what’s not changing, worried about your finances, and can’t sleep because your child is off course, that’s a sign that you’ve stopped believing. You need to enter into rest. Come back to a place of peace. You can’t trust God and be worried at the same time. When you’re at rest, you know that God is in control. You know that all things are going to work for your good, and you know that what He started, He’s going to finish.
When you’re at rest, you’re not stressed out, and you feel restored and revitalized.

Prayer for Today

Lord,

I trust in Your divine timing and plan. Even when my path seems winding and unclear, I know You’re steering my life with purpose. As I face detours and delays, let me remember that these are not setbacks but setups for a bigger blessing You have prepared for me. When doors seem closed and I can’t discern Your hand at work, I remain hopeful, knowing You work behind the scenes in ways beyond my comprehension. I embrace where I am because I believe it is where You want me to be. Thank You, Lord, for the set times of favor, healing, and turnaround You have designated for me. I realize that if it hasn’t happened yet, it’s not my time. Help me not to fight but to trust, knowing that my breakthrough is coming right on schedule.
✨God, I rejoice in Your promises and look forward to the day when Your bigger, more rewarding blessings unfold in my life. ✨
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dealing with Difficult People

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

The Scripture says, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21, NIV). You never overcome disrespect with more disrespect. You never get ahead by doing to others the wrongs they did to you. That’s a test of your character. God is seeing what He can trust you with. Will you be the bigger person and overlook the insult? Will you stay on the high road and not get baited into conflict? You only have so much emotional energy each day. It’s not an unlimited supply. It takes a lot of energy to get upset, to live offended, to think about what someone said about you, and to try to straighten them out. That’s energy you need for your dreams, to pursue your goals, to enjoy your family. Don’t spend it on things that don’t matter.

You can’t control how everyone treats you, but you can control how you respond. When someone is rude, you don’t have to get upset. When they cut you off in traffic, that doesn’t have to ruin your morning. When a coworker leaves you out, you can’t control that, but you can stay in peace, knowing that God is fighting your battles. When you take the high road, you’ll not only enjoy your life more, but you’re showing God that He can trust you with more influence and more favor. Don’t go the next twenty years letting the same situations upset you, the same coworker get on your nerves, or the same grumpy relative steal your joy. They may not change, but here’s the key: You can change.

Sometimes we’ve trained ourselves to respond a certain way. “If they say this, I’m going to get upset. If they leave me out, I’m going to leave them out. If my crazy uncle makes fun of me, I’m going to tell him off.” The problem is, you’re letting them control you. If they perform a certain way, it’s going to sour your day. Why don’t you take the controls back?

Stop allowing yourself to get upset. Someone can’t make you get upset; you have to give them permission to upset you. You have to make the choice. Some people know exactly what buttons they can push to get you bent out of shape. The next time they push those buttons, just smile and say, “Not this time. I’m staying in peace. I’m going to enjoy this day.”

If someone is disrespectful, rude, and always finding fault, they have issues they haven’t dealt with. They end up with bitterness, anger, and insecurity bottled up inside. Sometimes that poison will try to spill off on you. You have to stay on the offensive. “They may be rude, but I’m not taking the bait. I’m staying calm. I’m going to be respectful, despite how they treat me.” Or “My boss celebrates everyone except me. He gives others credit for my work, but I’m not going to live sour. I’m not working unto people. I’m working unto God.”

Prayer for Today

Lord,

Give me strength to overcome evil with good, to respond with kindness amid disrespect. Help me to maintain my character and to pass Your tests with honor. Let me be the bigger person, able to overlook insults and avoid needless conflict. Allow me to save my energy for my dreams, my goals, my family. Remind me that while I cannot control others’ actions, I can control my reactions. Even when faced with rudeness, let me remain peaceful, trusting that You are fighting my battles. Guide me along the high road, showing that I am worthy of Your favor and influence. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

happy morning girl yes

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

The Scripture says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5, NKJV). Every morning, God sends you a fresh supply of joy. You can dismiss it and think, That’s not for me. I have too much coming against me. Or you can receive it and say, “Things may not be perfect in my life, but I know that God is on the throne. He’s ordering my steps, and His plans for me are for good, so I’m going to enjoy this day.”

This is what David did. He faced all kinds of opposition—armies trying to stop him, people slandering him. But in the middle of that, he said, “This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). His circumstances said that he should be discouraged, afraid, and lonely. If he were reporting on the situation, he would have said, “This is the day the Lord has made, and I’m really discouraged. I have a lot of problems.” That would have been the truth. But he wasn’t reporting; he was making a declaration of faith.

He was saying, “Despite the opposition, I will be happy. Despite people lying about me, I will be happy. Despite my family not believing in me, I’m going to live this day happy.” If you’re going to be happy, you have to be happy on purpose, because there will be people, betrayals, delays, and all kinds of situations that can cause you to live sour. You have to put your foot down and say, “That’s it. I’m not letting other people steal my joy. I’m not letting what’s not working out cause me to be sour. I’m not letting this problem at work keep me from enjoying my life. I will rejoice and I will be glad. I will live this day happy.”

Your will is more powerful than how you feel. David didn’t feel happy when he wrote this, but he declared, “I will rejoice.” Don’t wait to feel happy before you decide to be happy. You have to decide first, then the happiness will come. As with David, you may feel discouraged. You may have a good reason—things were unfair, you went through a loss, nothing looks promising in your future. The enemy would love for you to think that’s the way it’s always going to be—to just drag through the day sour and never get your hopes up. No, you have to kick your will into gear. “I will be happy. I will enjoy this day. I will focus on the goodness of God.” Your will is going to override how you feel. A mark of maturity is when you can be happy even when things aren’t going your way, because your joy is not based on your circumstances.

Prayer for Today

Dear Lord,

Thank You that my happiness is not based on my circumstances. As I open my eyes each morning, help me to choose joy, faith, and happiness. Remind me that each day is a gift, and I get to decide how to unwrap it. Let me say, “Today, I choose to be happy. I choose to see the good, and I’m thankful. I will show love to my family and friends and savor every moment.” Don’t allow me to let my troubles decide how I live, Lord. When I’m stuck in traffic, when things feel tough, help me remember that You’re in control. If I dwell on the difficulties, I’m choosing my problems over Your promises. But You tell me, “Joy comes in the morning,” and I believe that. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong, thinking I’m not worthy or things are too hard, help me to say, “Life isn’t perfect, but God, You are. You guide my steps. Your plans for me are good. I will embrace this day with joy.” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:37-40, NIV). You can’t love others if you don’t first love yourself. The best thing you can do for your family and friends is to be good to you, be kind to you, be merciful to you, be forgiving to you, be loving to you. You’re good to others, so why aren’t you good to you? You don’t criticize your friend, so why are you criticizing you? You compliment your coworker, so when was the last time you complimented yourself? You admire other people’s talents, so why don’t you admire your talents? Start being good to you. That’s not being selfish or arrogant; that’s loving yourself.

Too many people go through life being against themselves, feeling as though something’s wrong inside. I heard someone say, “I discovered the enemy. It was me.” Are you your enemy? Are you defeating yourself, limiting your dreams, sabotaging your relationships—all because you don’t like yourself? You have enough people and circumstances against you, so don’t be against yourself.

When you wake up in the morning, don’t lie in bed and think of everything you feel is wrong with you or what you don’t like about your looks. You don’t need to relive your mistakes. Why didn’t I finish college? I should have been more disciplined. I lost my temper yesterday. Those are toxic thoughts that will drain your strength, your energy, and your enthusiasm. Instead of focusing on what you think is wrong with you, start focusing on what’s right with you. You have weaknesses, you’ve made mistakes—we all have—but there’s a lot more right with you than there is wrong with you. Dwelling on the negative doesn’t help you do better. Beating yourself up for past mistakes doesn’t move you forward. The better you feel about yourself, the better you’ll do. The more you like yourself, the further you’ll go.

Prayer for Today

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your incredible love, forgiveness, and compassion. I humbly ask for Your mercy to guide me to a place of self-compassion where I can forgive myself as You have so generously forgiven me. Help me to be at peace with myself so that I can nurture peace with my loved ones. I seek Your divine wisdom, Lord, to see myself as You see me. Let me remember that through Jesus, I am free, forgiven, and favored in Your eyes. Show me how to appreciate myself as the masterpiece You say I am, reminding me of the distinctive gifts and talents that You’ve given me. As I cultivate greater love and appreciation for all that You made me to be, guide me to share that love with others, living out the divine purpose You have planned for my life. In the powerful Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

He has reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body. BETTER FUTURE
"I NEED HELP"

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

In the Scripture, after God gave Joseph a dream that he would be in a position of leadership, he was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and put in prison. He had one bad break after another for thirteen years before he became the prime minister of Egypt. If he had had a preconceived idea of how it was going to happen, he would have lived bitter and angry.

God uses adversities, bad breaks, and disappointments to move us to where He wants us to be. The trouble looks like a setback but is really transportation. We think God only uses favor, good breaks, and open doors to get us to our destiny, but He uses closed doors just as much as open doors. He uses people who are against us just as much as people who are for us. He uses rejection, betrayals, and delays to position us for promotion. We can’t see it at the time, we don’t like it, it’s uncomfortable, but it’s the hand of God ordering our steps.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You’re not limited by closed doors, by disappointments, or by my preconceived ideas of how You work. Thank You for closed doors as well as open doors. I believe that You are directing my steps and that You’ll take me through the things I don’t understand. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

The enemy has no new tricks. He uses the same tactics. He uses the loud threats, the loud thoughts: “It’s not going to work out. This problem is too big. Give up, surrender, quit believing.” He’s expecting these negative thoughts to make it easier to defeat you. But you know his tactics as Hezekiah did. You can call his bluff and say, “No, thanks. I’m not intimidated. The problem may be big, but my God is bigger. He has the final say. These people who are against me may be powerful, but my God is all-powerful, and He is with me.” Don’t let the enemy bully you. Stand strong and call his bluff.

Everything about you may say you’re ordinary. You feel average. “You can’t start a business. You can’t break the addiction. No one in your family is successful.” On your own, that might be true. The good news is that your Heavenly Father is a master potter. He knows how to shape and mold you into all He wants you to be. He’s going to put in you a strength, a determination, a stamina that you’ve never felt. He’s going to shape in you a new boldness, a greater confidence, and a courage to step out and do things you’ve never done.
You’re going to have more creativity, more wisdom, great ideas, and great favor. It’s going to happen faster than you think. You may feel stuck, but get ready. You are God’s handiwork, and a change is coming.
You’re going to get well sooner, come out of debt quicker, accomplish that goal easier. What He works into your life and character will enable you to go where you can’t go on your own, to accomplish what seems impossible.🚀🏔️➡️🌟

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that my life is in Your hands and You are shaping it like a potter shapes clay—not just my dreams and goals, but my character. The “wilderness” represents barrenness, no growth, a wasteland in our lives. You’re doing the right thing, but your business is not increasing, your marriage is not getting better, your health is not improving, you were passed over for another promotion. You’re in the wilderness. You feel stuck, restricted by your environment. In those dry places, you could be discouraged, thinking it will never change. No, get ready. God knows where you are. He’s watching you in the lonely nights, the times you were betrayed, those days when you felt like giving up but you kept going. You were hurting, the pain was real, but you didn’t let it stop you. He’s about to come and throw His arms around you and lavish His grace upon you. You’re going to see increase that you can’t explain, favor that you didn’t deserve, healing that doesn’t make sense, freedom from things that have held you back. Now get in agreement with God.Lord, I receive it into my spirit. Amaze me with Your goodness. Make me the apple of Your eye.”

i AM THE ROCK

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

If we want our faith to be effective, we have to be acknowledging every good thing we have in Christ. You can’t go around acknowledging the negative—your weaknesses, the times you didn’t measure up, or how you should be more disciplined. Don’t go through life thinking little of yourself, focused on your weaknesses, dwelling on your failures. That only makes you feel badly about yourself.

Start acknowledging the good that Christ has done in your life, step into the potential God has put in you,
let that personality He gave you come out and shine.

Don’t be your enemy; be you’re asset.✨

Be your biggest fan.👏😀

Nobody should think better of you than you, because you recognize God breathed His life in you. When you acknowledge the good, when you say, “Lord, thank You for the strengths and the talents You put in me, thank You for Your gifts and for Your favor, thank You for taking me where I’ve never dreamed,” then your faith is made effective. You’re going to see God show out.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for entrusting me with good gifts and talents and dreams.
I acknowledge that I have greatness in me because of what Christ has done for me.
Help me to step into my potential and let my personality shine. I believe You will show out through me.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Today's Scripture 50

Philemon 6, NKJV

…that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

If anyone understood the meaning of the grace of God, it was the Apostle Paul. Even though he was the biggest enemy of the early church, Paul says “the grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly” with forgiveness and a call into God’s service. In today’s Scripture, the word Paul uses for “freely” in the original language is “promiscuous,” which means that God’s grace will go to anyone. If someone is promiscuous, they’re unrestrained.
That’s the way God’s grace is. It’s not looking for perfect people. You can be struggling with an addiction, and grace will come looking for you. You can be working in the wrong type of place, and grace will come knocking at your door. You can be discouraged, thinking you’ve messed up too many times, you’ve brought your troubles on yourself, and grace still comes. You can’t get so low that God won’t stoop down. His grace is unrestrained for you today. It doesn’t have limitations.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that I have been freely justified by Jesus’ redemption and that Your grace is abounding in me. Thank You that the power of Your grace has the same transforming effect in me as it did in the Apostle Paul. I believe that Your grace has no limits. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Today's Scripture 49

Romans 3:24, NIV

…and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

jealousy

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

In Genesis 26, Isaac was living among the Philistines in a time of great famine. He stepped out in faith and sowed seeds despite the drought, and God blessed him with a hundredfold harvest. He became a wealthy man, with large flocks of sheep and great herds of cattle. He was blessed so abundantly that the Philistines became jealous. All was well with the Philistines until Isaac’s business took off.

They started putting obstacles in his way, and in the end the king told Isaac he had to move because he was too powerful. Isaac could have argued, could have started a fight, but he understood that with the blessing comes persecution. He kept his peace, moved on, and God brought him into a better place.

When God brings blessings on your life, someone will be jealous and try to stir up trouble. Stay on the high road.
👉 Don’t pay attention to the criticism of small-minded people. 👈
When you refuse to get bent out of shape, nothing can keep you from the abundance that belongs to you.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the promise to bless me right where I am, even when I face opposition and ridicule. I believe that You will multiply me even in the midst of famine. I receive Your peace and declare that I will stay on the high road and avoid conflict. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Today's Scripture 48

Genesis 26:12, NLT

When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the LORD blessed him.

Closer than you think

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

In Psalm 18, David says that God rescued him from powerful enemies “in the day of my disaster” because he kept doing the right thing when it was hard. 🙏

God sees when you’ve been good to people who aren’t good to you, when you stay on the high road instead of paying people back. 👀 God is saying, “I’m about to settle your account. I’m about to vindicate you, promote you, and suddenly turn things around.” ⚖️ You won’t see it coming, but suddenly He’s going to thrust you to a new level, thrust you to abundance, thrust you into greater influence, honor, opportunity. 🚀 You’re going to come out with much more than those who try to stop you.

You are closer to your payback than you think. Don’t get tired of doing the right thing. Your due season is coming. 🌱 The unfair situation, the bad break, or the people who left you out never go unnoticed. God sees your innocence, your faithfulness. When God pays you back, it will be more than you can imagine.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You are a God of justice who rescues and vindicates me. Thank You that the time comes when You say it’s payback time, and You will settle my accounts. I’m going to keep doing the right thing and believing that things are about to turn around. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

It’s easy to live with a forever mind-set that’s negative. “It’s never going to work out. Maybe I’ll get a good break in a few years. The damage to this relationship is permanent.” Switch over to a soon mentality. Some things take time, but you have to come to God with an expectant faith. He’s about to do something out of the normal time frame, something unusual, sooner than you think. “What if I believe and this doesn’t happen?” What if you believe and it does happen? It probably won’t happen if you’ve already accepted that it’s going to be a long time to get out of this trouble, to get well, to meet the right person, to accomplish your dream. That’s limiting what God will do. You have to believe for sooner rather than later. Even if it doesn’t happen as soon as you like, you have to live with a soon mentality. You have to keep releasing your faith, reminding God of what He promised, knowing He is listening and you’re about to see His favor.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that everything You’ve promised me will be released in my life because You are faithful. Thank You that You hear my prayers and that the answers are on the way. I am looking for Your goodness and believing for Your favor today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

winner takes all

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

There are forty-two chapters in the book of Job, and all forty-two focus on the difficulties he went through—the loss of his business, his children, his health, and the accusations of his friends. It seems like this struggle was his whole life, but “after this” Job lived over a hundred and forty good years and experienced great joy with his children and grandchildren. God is showing us that the trouble is temporary, that it’s not going to last forever. You may be in a difficult time, but that’s not how your story ends. That loss is not going to define you. That sickness is not going to ruin the rest of your life. That person who walked away, that bad break, or the unfair situation is not going to stop your purpose. God has an “after this” for you. After the trouble, there’s going to be great joy in your life. After the loss, after the sickness, after the legal battle, you’re going to see new friendships, new opportunities, new growth. Your story ends in victory.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that nothing and no one can upset Your plans for my life. Thank You that You have an ‘after this’ for difficult seasons and my story doesn’t end there. Help me to declare that You live and are on the throne in the tough times. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

From dungeon to palace JOSEPH

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

In the Scripture, Joseph spent thirteen years in slavery and was imprisoned for something he didn’t do. One morning the guard came in and said, “Pharaoh wants to see you.” I imagine Joseph thought, “That’s impossible! I’m a slave, a foreigner, a prisoner.” Joseph was brought into the presence of the most powerful ruler of his day, interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, and was made the prime minister of Egypt right on the spot. God fulfilled His promise to Joseph that he would rule one day.
He woke up that morning a prisoner; he went to bed that night promoted and vindicated.🤴 👑

God is working out His plan for your life. There are things that take time, and it looks like what you’re up against is never going to change. But when you step into your destiny moment, God will do things speedily, quicker than you thought. He’ll cause you to accomplish your dream in a fraction of the time. The One who controls the universe is watching over you to fulfill His promises to you.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You are watching to see that Your word and purpose for my life is fulfilled. Thank You that You have an answer for every obstacle I am facing. I believe that the answer is on the way and will arrive sooner than expected. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

With a severe drought in the land, no income, no savings, and no food, a widow was preparing a last meal for herself and her son before their anticipated death when the prophet Elijah arrived and asked her for some bread. Based on God’s promise in today’s Scripture, she took a step of faith and made him bread from what little flour she had left. From that day forward, for three and a half years, the oil never ran out and the flour container was never empty.
She had supernatural provision. She went from running out to running over.

Every time God asks you to do a hard thing, that means there’s a big blessing coming. The obedience requires your trust, courage, and faith. Thoughts will tell you, “What good will that do?” You have to fight off the doubt and negative thoughts.
But when you choose to obey, when you do the right thing when it’s hard, you’re setting yourself up for God to show out in your life, to see supernatural favor, supernatural healing, supernatural provision.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for being the God of infinite grace and favor who always exceeds my greatest expectations. Thank You that as I give freely of myself, You will bless me to the point of overflowing in every area of my life. I believe that it will be beyond what I have faith for. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

good fight

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

Some of the difficulties we complain about, the challenges we don’t like, are meant to prepare us for greater favor, greater influence, greater opportunities. Quit telling yourself, “It’s too hard. They did me wrong. I can’t put up with this.” Instead of trying to pray away all the things that make you uncomfortable, pray away the people who get on your nerves, pray away the delays, try a different approach and say, “God, help me to keep a good attitude in the midst of these challenges. Help me to stay in faith when people aren’t treating me right. Help me to fight the good fight of faith and resist the temptation to compromise, to take the easy way out, so my character can develop and I can handle what You have in store.”

You can handle every difficulty through Christ. You have been armed with strength for every battle. Dig your heels in and stand strong in your faith. Keep a song of praise, keep being your best. You have the grace you need for every situation.

Prayer for Today

It’s good to be passionate about our dreams, passionate about healing, freedom, and promotion. 🔥 But don’t be so consumed that you’re not going to be happy while you’re waiting for God to make His path known to you. 🙏 Don’t put your happiness on hold until everything works out. This day is a gift. 🎁 Enjoy your life while God is working.👍

Don’t be uptight, stressed out, and saying, “When is it going to change?” 😣 You have to pass the test of being happy where you are before God will get you to where you want to be.

If you can only be happy when the problem turns around, when what you desire comes to pass, that’s going to delay what God is going to do. ⏳ You have to put your foot down and say, “I am going to enjoy this day. This crisis, these challenges, or this bad break is not going to stop me. God, Your presence in my life is my joy. I trust Your timing, and I trust Your ways. In the meantime, I’m going to rejoice and live my life with gladness.” 🌿✨

Who told you that you can’t accomplish your dreams? Who told you that you’re less-than, not good enough, not smart enough? Who told you that you can’t be happy? Who says you’ve had too many bad breaks, that the obstacles are too big? That may be true if you were average or ordinary, but I know something about you. Your Father in heaven loves you with a great love. You have royal blood flowing through your veins. You have the spiritual DNA of Almighty God. You are wearing a crown of favor. You’re the King’s son, the King’s daughter.

Maybe you’ve had some bad breaks, you’ve been overlooked or pushed down, but have the right perspective: You’re a child of the King, and it’s time for you to reign. You haven’t made too many mistakes. Your obstacles are not too big.

Get your passion back. Get your fire back. You wouldn’t be reading this if God wasn’t about to do something unusual, something unprecedented. You’re on the verge of seeing favor that you’ve never seen.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for being my Father and loving me with a great love. Help me to quit believing the lies that say I’m less-than or that I can’t overcome something. God is not necessarily looking for people who have great faith, but for people who simply stand with an attitude of faith. People who stand when the problem is not turning around, stand when your heart is breaking, stand when the bottom falls out—not bitter, not discouraged. God never said we wouldn’t have times of trouble. But He did promise that if you just stand, He’ll bring you out. He’ll give you beauty for ashes. He has joy coming in the morning. Don’t let those times of testing cause you to think that God is not for you. The enemy cannot defeat a stander 🧍‍♂️.
He can’t defeat you when you stand in praise 🙌 even when things are not working out. You stand in excellence ⭐ and keep being your best in the middle of the trouble 🌊. You stand unmoved 🛡️ by what you’re up against, stand with your eyes on God 👀, knowing that He has the final say 🕊️, that He’s working behind the scenes 🎬, and that what He promised you will come to pass ✨.

We know there’s more in us ✨, but we don’t want to have to stretch or take the risk that it might not work out 😬.
We can get comfortable with friends who are pulling us down ⬇️, with addictions ⛓️, with self-pity 😔.

The problem with staying comfortable 🛏️ is that you will miss your destiny 🎯.
When God is about to take you higher ⬆️, you always have to make the choice: comfort or calling?

Are you going to stay in the comfort zone 🛋️, or are you going to step out in faith ✝️ and take a risk 🎲?

Perhaps you need to work on a relationship ❤️, you need to forgive 🤍, you need to stretch, but you’re letting fear 😨 and what people will think 👥 and how it seems too hard 🧱 keep you in your comfort.

God is saying, “If you do what I’m asking you to do, I’ll step in 💥 and give you supernatural strength 💪 and boldness 🦁 to overcome obstacles 🏔️ and rise higher in your calling.”

Prayer for Today

WAITING PERIOD

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

The Scripture talks about Abraham being fully persuaded that God would do what He promised even when it seemed impossible for him and Sarah to have a baby. When you’re fully persuaded, you’re not going to change your mind. You’re not going to let people talk you out of it. You’re not going to let circumstances cause you to quit believing. Before you see the promise, there’s a waiting period. When you don’t see anything happening, every thought will tell you, “You’re wasting your time. Just accept that it’s never going to happen.”
That’s a test. God is seeing what you’re made of. Are you going to get talked out of it, or are you going to be fully persuaded? You have to dig down deep and say, “I’m not moved by what’s not changing. I’m not discouraged because it’s taking so long. I’m not worried because it’s not improving. I know God is a faithful God. I’ve seen Him do it in the past, and I know He’ll do it again in the future.”

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that my faith and trust are anchored to You and Your power at work in my life. Thank You that I don’t have to be moved by the tests and troubles I face because I am fully persuaded You will do what You promised. I declare that my hope is in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

God says that if you trust and hope in Him, you are blessed no matter what your circumstances are. You’re like a tree that is not affected by a drought. You keep on producing even in famine, you outlast the opposition, and you accomplish dreams bigger than you imagined. He has provided you with everything you need to succeed. The bad breaks, the people who walked away, and the unhealthy environment you may have been raised in cannot hold you back because your faith roots go deep. The illness, the child who is struggling, or the business that has slowed is not going to stop you. God is going to take what was meant for your harm and turn it to your advantage. It was meant to stop you, but if you keep believing, keep thanking God, and keep doing the right thing, you’re going to come out with luscious fruit—stronger, healthier, better than you were before.
All the forces of darkness cannot keep the greatness and the purpose God put in you from flourishing in amazing ways.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that every day I can live my life rooted in my relationship with You. Thank You for planting me in the streams of Your living water that all the opposition and negative circumstances cannot diminish. I look forward to the abundance You are producing in my life.

Too often, instead of believing that God will do something special for us personally, we believe the lies that tell us just the opposite: “You can’t ask for what you really want. That would be selfish. You don’t deserve it. Who do you think you are to even ask for it?” Yet the Scripture says your loving Father joyously gives you His kingdom with all its promises. He says that so you’ll have the boldness to ask for big things, for God-sized dreams that honor Him.

In all the big things you ever ask God for, you won’t hear Him say, “Who are you to ask for that?” Just the opposite. God will be whispering, “You’re the apple of My eye, My most prized possession. I love the fact that you come to Me and dare to believe that I can do the impossible.
Of course, everything you’ll ask for won’t come to pass, but there will be times when you see God show out in your life in ways greater than you ever imagined.

BRIGHT FUTURE

A lot of people are down on themselves because of past things they’ve done wrong 😔. They’re so focused on their past that it poisons their future ☠️➡️🌱. We have all sinned and made mistakes, but don’t let guilt stunt your growth 🚫🌿. Come out from under that condemnation. Quit thinking about all the things you’ve done wrong, living in regrets ⛓️.
When you live guilty, you’re in agreement with the enemy, the accuser 👁️‍🗨️. He’d love for you to go through life feeling wrong about yourself. He’s trying to stunt your growth. He knows your potential. He knows you were created to soar 🦅, which is why he works overtime trying to make you feel guilty, whispering, “You don’t measure up. You failed again. You’ll never be free.”
There’s always some reason to be down on yourself. You have to declare, “No, thanks 🙌. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I’m forgiven. I’m redeemed. My past is over, my present is secure, and my future is bright ✨.”

When God promised Abraham that he was going to be the father of many nations, he was seventy-five years old. There was no way in the natural that he and Sarah could have a baby. It looked impossible, but God was saying, “Abraham, as long as you’re in your tent, all you see is you and Sarah. You’re only focused on what you can accomplish. You have to get outside your tent and look up. Bring Me into the picture. I’m your Heavenly Father. Get your eyes off your impossibilities and keep your eyes on Me.”

When you’re in your tent, all you see is your limitations, how you were raised, what you can’t do. You have to get out of your tent and have a bigger vision. You’re not doing life on your own. Your Heavenly Father controls the universe. He makes ways when you don’t see ways. If you get a new perspective and start believing that good things are coming, you’ll see your Heavenly Father turn impossible situations around and take you further than you ever dreamed.

The Scripture says that God’s ways are not our ways. We think that it’s just the good breaks, the promotions, and the great relationships that serve God’s plan, but it’s also the disappointments, the closed doors, and the people who do us wrong. Without that happening, we couldn’t reach our destiny. You have to trust God’s process. We see the negative things as hindrances, but it is all necessary to become who we are created to be. We all go through things that don’t make sense, but God wouldn’t have allow it if it wasn’t going to serve His plan. This is when you have to dig down deep and wait upon Him in faith. Just keep moving forward, doing the right thing, being faithful, serving others. God is not going to waste anything you go through. What was meant for your harm, He will turn to your advantage. Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN: www.joelosteen.com

In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus talks about the seed that falls in stony ground. He says the stony ground is like those who receive His word with joy, but their roots are shallow. They believe for a while, but they wilt when the hot winds of testing blow. You can’t become who you were created to be without going through hot winds of testing—times when you feel overwhelmed, when you’re doing the right thing but it’s not improving, when someone does you wrong. That’s not just a random challenge or bad luck; you’re in the hot winds of testing.

How deep do your roots go? How you respond in the difficult times will determine whether you come out bitter or better. 💪👊 Don’t let the hot winds of testing cause you to fall apart. If you pass the test, keep doing the right thing, keep being good to people, keep letting God fight your battles, because your roots go down deep, God will not only turn it around, but He’ll bring you out better. 📈

What do you find often holds you back from being courageous enough to take the risk and step into God’s calling and purpose for your life? This takes a made-up mind that says, “I am not going to let fear, insecurity, what I don’t have, or what I don’t think I can do keep me in my limited environment. I’m going to stretch and make changes to follow the call. I’m not going to stay in my dysfunction, surrounded by dysfunctional friends.” Your destiny is too great to let fear of what people will think to stop you.Now don’t let comfort hold you back.
The fear may still be there, but you have to act on your purpose, not on your fear. Fear will keep you from your destiny. Fear will keep you stuck. You may feel fear, but you have to do it afraid. As you step out, courage will come. Confidence will show up. The favor, the blessing, the healing—it’s waiting for you, not in your comfort but in your calling.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the gifts and talents You have given me and for Your calling on my life. Thank You that You have given me a spirit of power and courage to stretch and become all You created me to be. I declare that I will not let fear keep me in my comfort zone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

JESUS YA

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

It’s significant that Samuel anointed David to be king in front of his father and brothers. His father hadn’t believed in him and had left him out in the shepherds’ fields when Samuel came. His brothers made fun of him and tried to make him feel small. David showed that if you become deaf to others’ negative comments and attitudes toward you, God will bless you in front of the people who tried to push you down. He will honor you in front of those who said you don’t have what it takes. God knows how to prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies. He is not going to promote you in private, but He’ll promote you where those who didn’t believe in you will see you honored, in new levels of influence and favor.

Be respectful to others, but don’t let their doubts and negativity toward you cancel out, or talk you out of what God put in your heart. Turn a deaf ear to all that and get ready to see the greatness of God.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that You have Your ways of preparing tables for me when I face negativity and critics.

Thank You that You show how much You love me and honor me.

Let me not only see Your goodness but use me to show other people how great You are.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

When you keep God first, He puts on you an anointing of the oil of joy to which nothing can stick. You're like a nonstick baking pan. Disrespect will come, and people will say hurtful things, but the good news is that you have a nonstick anointing. You can let that go, and it will slide right off you and have no effect. You could be offended when your coworker leaves you out and plays politics, but you have the oil of joy and just let it go. When someone is rude to you, you could give them a piece of your mind, but like that nonstick pan, it slides right off. You go on and enjoy the day. 😀

You weren't created to hold on to offenses, disrespect, or hurtful words. Keep yourself oiled up. The next time that something happens that could upset you, take a new approach: "Father, thank You that I've been anointed with the oil of joy. I'm going to stay in peace and focus on my goals, knowing that You are fighting my battles."

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for anointing me with the oil of joy that is like a protective coating from offenses.

Thank You that I can let go of the negative things that come my way and they slide right off.

I declare that because You are fighting my battles, I will stay in peace.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

God gave Abraham the promise of a son when he was seventy-five years old. Even though both he and Sarah were too old to have a child, faith rose in Abraham’s heart. Twenty-five long years went by during which he had plenty of reasons to give up on the promise, but the Scripture says, “In hope against hope Abraham believed.” He went from “I believe” to “I still believe.” He had a made-up mind, and when he was one hundred years old, he and Sarah had their son.

God is looking for “I still believe” people. Maybe you believed God’s promise but nothing’s changing, no doors have opened, you’ve been told no over and over. Thoughts tell you, “It’s too late. There’s no way. Let it go.” That’s all a part of the process. God didn’t give you the dream and not have a way to bring it to pass. He’s already taken into account all the setbacks, the delays, the betrayals, the closed doors. Keep believing, keep praising, keep thanking God that it’s on the way.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that You are my God and that’s reason enough to never waver in believing Your promises. Thank You that my faith can grow stronger through this. I am going to keep believing, keep praising, and thanking You for what’s on the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

If you start your day dreading something you’re facing, you’re drawing in what you’re thinking about. If you’re telling yourself, “I can’t pass the course. This problem is too big. I’ll never get past this sickness,” you’re defeating yourself. Turn it around and say, “God, this looks difficult, but You say that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. Thank You that it’s going to be easier than it looks.”

The Most High God is arranging the good breaks, the healing, the favor, the promotion. He has the right people lined up for you. He knows how to change people’s minds to be for you. You don’t have to do everything in your own strength and ability. You have to stay strong and fight the good fight of faith. It may not happen overnight, but keep believing, keep declaring the promises, keep doing the right thing. You’re going to come into moments of favor when God suddenly causes things to fall into place, suddenly your business takes off, suddenly your health turns around, and it’s not a struggle anymore.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for calling me to come to You with all my burdens and cares and that You will give me rest. Thank You that You are in control and You’re working to make difficulties easier than they look. Help me to stay strong and fight the good fight of faith. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

Do you realize that one thing that can easily stunt your growth is the people with whom you’re spending time. You need to evaluate your friendships. Are they making you better, pushing you up higher, inspiring you to reach your dreams? Or are they causing you to compromise, to be mediocre, to take the easy way out? The Scripture says you’re going to become like the people you continually associate with. It also says, “If you walk with wise people, you will become wise.” If the people you associate with gossip, complain about the boss, are unfaithful in relationships, and hard to get along with, do yourself a favor and find some new friends. Spirits are transferable. You may not realize it, but they’re blocking your growth and limiting your potential. You have to make the change.

Your destiny is too great to hang around people who are not adding to your life. You need people who bring out the best in you, people who inspire you to do better, who challenge you to live a life of excellence and integrity.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for making it so plain that I need to be selective about whom I surround myself with. Help me to protect what You have entrusted to me so I can reach my highest potential. I commit myself to surrounding myself with people who inspire me and make me better. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

When Jesus went around healing the sick, curing the lepers, and teaching with great authority and wisdom, great crowds followed Him. People looked at His family background, and they couldn’t understand it. They asked, “His father was just a carpenter, nothing special. How can his son be doing miracles and be this influential? Where does Jesus get the wisdom to teach so powerfully?” They were looking at His natural father, at His background and training. They didn’t realize who His Heavenly Father was.

Sometimes life will tell you that you’re average, that you’ve reached your limits, that you’ve gone as far as you can. “Look at your family. There’s nothing special about you. You can’t do anything great.” That may be true in the natural, but you have another Father. No discredit to your natural father, but your Heavenly Father is the giver of all good gifts. Your spiritual bloodline overrides your natural bloodline. If you’re going to see the greatness that belongs to you, the favor, the influence, and the talent, look to your Heavenly Father today.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that You are constantly working, constantly showing me Your goodness, with every good gift that comes into my life. Thank You that You are my Father and that my spiritual bloodline overrides the natural. I will look to You today to bring out my greatness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The enemy is a bully. Bullies are loud, intimidating, liars, and try to threaten you to control you and keep you down. You have to stand up to the enemy and say, “Your intimidation and threats don’t move me. You have no power over me. I know who I am, and I know whose I am. You may seem big, but God and I are a majority. What He’s destined for my life will come to pass. I will not live worried or let your lies play in my mind.”

The way you defeat the enemy is by saying what God says about you. When the enemy says, “You’ll never break out and rise higher,” you have to declare, “The path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter, and that’s my path. My greatest victories are still in front of me.” When you hear the lie, “You’ll never break the addiction,” tell the enemy, “I am surrendered to God. In Jesus, I am free, and I will become who I was created to be.”

Prayer for Today

If you judge your life by something negative that is happening today, you may feel as though God has forgotten about you and get discouraged. But the Scripture says that God is transforming you from glory to glory, that the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter. That means He already has a solution to the problem that’s holding you back. He’s already arranged restoration for that loss, a new beginning for that setback, promotion for that injustice. It’s already on the schedule. It’s just a matter of time before you see the light break through to full day. ☀️
When the lies come saying, “God has forgotten about you. It’s never going to work out. You’ve seen your best days,” just say, “No, thanks. This situation may be difficult, it’s not fair, but I know that this is not how my story ends. Favor is in my future, good breaks are headed my way, the right people are tracking me down. God is going to bring me out better, transformed, promoted, healthier, and to new levels of my destiny.”

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that my name is written on Your hands and that it’s impossible for You to forget me. Thank You for the promise that You are transforming me from glory to glory and making my path brighter and brighter. I believe that You are working right now to lift me to another level. When someone hurts you, takes advantage of you, or breaks their promise to you, if you keep thinking about it, you’re letting them continue to hurt you. Don’t give them your power. You have to let it go. Give it to God. He saw what they did. He saw your tears and heartache, and He knows how to pay you back for the wrongs. He has beauty for the ashes, but you have to let go of the ashes before you can see the beauty. God says, “You give me the ashes, you quit dwelling on the hurts, you forgive them, you move forward with your life, and I’ll give you the beauty. I’ll give you the oil of joy and a garment of praise. That old spirit of heaviness has to go.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com :

We turn on the news these days and hear about how bad this or that is, the divisiveness in politics, the unrest in our society. If you allow the negative to get in you, the division, the disrespect, the anger, it’s going to pollute your thoughts, steal your joy, and make you sour. You have to be proactive. What are you watching and listening to? Is it building you up, making you more positive, more hopeful, or is it tearing you down, stressing you out, making you upset? Life is hard enough without adding all these negative things that make it more difficult.

The Scripture says that God has made you to reign in life through Jesus Christ. When negative things come, remember that you’re the ruler. You have the authority to decide what you allow in. Are you going to dwell on the offense? Are you going to hang around the person who’s pulling you down? Are you going to stay focused on the bad break and live in self-pity? It’s up to you. You rule over your kingdom. 🏰🤴 👸

Prayer for Today

Over three hundred years after David died, eight generations later, his descendant King Hezekiah and the city of Jerusalem were surrounded by a huge Assyrian army. It looked as though Hezekiah was done, but God sent an angel who destroyed 185,000 of the enemy troops. In a split second the army was defeated and the nation was saved. I can imagine Hezekiah asking, “God, what did I do to deserve this favor?” God answered, in effect, “Hezekiah, it wasn’t anything you did. It was for the sake of my servant David. He stored up mercy for you three hundred years ago. You’re walking in the blessing that he deposited into your account."
Be a David. Start a blessing.👍 You can pass down blessings, favor, generosity, and faithfulness for generations to come. 📈 Or you can pass down dysfunction, bitterness, and mediocrity. 😩 Start the blessing, start the favor, start the freedom. God is counting on you to take your family to a new level. Because of your faithfulness, they’re going to go further, accomplish more, and become all they were created to be.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com :
Words are powerful. They have the ability to set the direction for our lives. When they’re spoken over us by someone who has authority, such as a parent, a coach, or a mentor, they can determine our destiny. The reason some people aren’t reaching their potential is they’ve never had blessings spoken over them. They’ve never had anyone declare what they can become, who God says they are, and how they have seeds of greatness. In today’s Scripture, the prophet Isaiah went around declaring God’s favor, freedom, and victory. He says that all those who would receive this declaration, those who would let these words take root, would see it come to pass.

Hundreds of years later, Jesus read this same declaration to the people in the synagogue in Nazareth. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me to declare…” Jesus declares victory, abundance, healing, and freedom over you. If you receive it, He will put you on a path to greater joy, better health, stronger relationships, to new levels of your destiny.

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that the power of Your declared blessing and favor over my life overrides any negative declarations that others have made about me. Thank You that I can receive Your favor, freedom, and victory. I believe You’re setting me on the best path for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com :
Jesus was at a wedding celebration in Galilee that lasted several days. Everything was going great until they ran out of wine. Up to this point, Jesus had not performed any miracles in public, but He told the staff to fill six large waterpots with water. I can imagine them thinking, “What good is that going to do?” But when the host tasted the water that Jesus turned to wine, he said the bridegroom had saved the best till then.

Notice how God works: If they had not run out of the good wine, they would never have tasted the best wine. God saves the best for next. You may feel like you’re running out of opportunities or running out of the resources to make ends meet. This may sound odd, but you’re in a good place. When you come to the end, God steps in and says, “I’ve saved the best for now.” The best position, the best relationships, the best in your finances, the best in your health is yet to come.

Ship

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com :
In James 3, it compares the tongue to a rudder of a ship. Even though the tongue is a small part of the body, it’s steering your life. What you’re saying is determining which direction you go. The good news is, you have control over your tongue. The next time you’re tempted to say something negative about yourself, your future, your children, or your finances, zip it up. Don’t steer toward defeat.

Are you sending your words out in the direction you want your life to go? The psalmist David says, “God will crown the year with a bountiful harvest, even the hard places will overflow with abundance.” You can go around saying, “This year looks like another tough year,” or you can say, “Father, thank You that even in a famine, even in a downturn, I am favored. Thank You that You’re not limited by my circumstances or the economy. Thank You that I am prosperous and I will overflow with joy, peace, and strength.”
That’s steering your ship toward increase, steering your ship toward overflow.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that You created me to use my words to steer my life in a way that’s in agreement with You. Help me to not just zip my lips before I speak words that could harm, but to use my words to edify. I believe that You will help me to speak in a way that leads to victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

No giant is too big for God—no disease too incurable, no addiction too overwhelming, or no obstacle too insurmountable. When you know that the HOW of getting things done is not up to you, you live in faith, knowing that God will manifest in your life.

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com :

At seventeen years old, David heard the giant Goliath taunting the Israelite army. Goliath was twice David’s size, the Philistine’s most skilled warrior, wearing a full set of armor. David had no military experience, no armor, no sword, just a slingshot. The HOW seemed impossible. But David understood that the HOW wasn’t up to him. He said, in effect, “Goliath, the odds look like they're against me, but I have an advantage. I know who I am. I belong to the Most High.
He didn’t focus on the HOW, he focused on the WHO, and he brought Goliath down.

When you know you belong to the Most High God, you’ll defeat giants.
When you face situations that you don’t see how they can work out,
you shift your perspective from the HOW to the WHO.
There’s no giant too big for Him—no sickness too great, no addiction too powerful, no obstacle too strong. When you know the HOW is not up to you, you live from a place of faith, knowing God will show out in your life.

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that when the challenges in my way look bigger, stronger, and more powerful than I can handle, I can focus on how great You are. Thank You that I am Your child and it’s not up to me. I believe You being for me is more than anything that comes against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Original Today's Word by JOEL (www.joelosteen.com):

David could have just said, “Lord, you will bless the righteous.” But he added the word “surely.” He was saying, “I’m absolutely convinced that You will bless me. I’m fully persuaded that what You promised is on the way.” You need to have some “surely”s. “Surely, I’ll get well. Surely, I’ll pay my house off. Surely, I’ll meet the right person. Surely, this problem is turning around. Surely, new doors are opening. Surely, I’ll come through this crisis better than I was before.” It’s not, “Maybe…there’s a good chance, if the medicine works, if I get the promotion, or if these people like me.” No, you need to add the surely; you have to be convinced.

If you have the “if”s, you’re going to talk yourself out of it. “Surely” means giving up is not an option, not believing is not something you even consider. Your face is set. You’re not moved by negative reports, not discouraged by how impossible it looks, not complaining about how long it’s taking. You know what God promised is on the way.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that You have put Your favor upon me and that it surrounds me as with a shield at all times. Thank You that You are surely going to bless me. I am fully persuaded that what You promised is on the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

rest woman

Original Today's Word by JOEL (www.joelosteen.com):
Whenever you’re waiting for something to change, perhaps for your health or finances to improve, once you’ve believed, you don’t have to figure everything out. When you don’t see anything changing, you’ll be tempted to worry, but stay at rest. When you’re at rest, you show God that you trust Him. Maybe you’re thinking it would have happened by now. You could be worried and complaining, but instead you’re thanking God, you’re declaring His promises, you’re being your best each day. When you’re at rest, you’re in faith. That’s what allows God to work.

But if you’re upset over what’s not changing, worried about your finances and can’t sleep because your child is off course, that’s a sign that you’ve stopped believing. You need to enter into God’s rest. Come back to a place of peace. You can’t trust God and be worried at the same time. When you’re at rest, you know God is in control, you know all things are going to work for your good, and you know what He started He’s going to finish.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for providing a place where I can rest in Your grace and strength to fight my battles. Thank You that I can stay in peace and know that You will make things happen that I never could. I believe that You are in control and that You’ll work it all out for good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

praise trees

Original Today's Word by JOEL (joelosteen.com):

It’s interesting that researchers have discovered that if trees grow up in an environment where they don’t have to withstand any wind pressure, their roots don’t develop properly and eventually can’t withstand their own weight. They have a deficiency in what they call “stress wood,” which is essentially the trees’ reaction to wind. Stress wood helps the tree grow stronger and more solidly. Without it, the trees can’t survive. The wind is essential for the tree to flourish and become what it was created to be.
In the same way, without the pressure of difficulties, we wouldn’t develop properly. Don’t complain about the testing. Every day you stand, it’s strengthening you. Your roots are going down deeper. You’re developing courage, strength, and fortitude. Every time you praise when you could complain, you’re developing stress wood. When you keep doing the right thing when the wrong thing is happening, your core is getting strengthened to carry the full weight of God’s blessing. Pass the test and stand tall, strong and flourishing.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that the difficulties and pressures I face are strengthening and are working in me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Thank You that they are developing stress wood in the core of my life. I believe I’m going to stand tall and flourish. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Are You Thirsty?

Dimension: Joel Osteen
No075/2026

stay thirsty po svych snech
“Time to fuel up and get going! Don’t drink it all — I’ll need some left, it’s going to be a long trek. Here we go!
I’m heading up the mountain to chase my dreams!” 👆🚶📈🌄👍

Original Today's Word by JOEL OSTEEN - www.joelosteen.com

Just as God gave you a natural instinct to drink water to maintain your life, He also put a spiritual thirst in you to see your dreams fulfilled and to pursue goals. But when we’ve gone through disappointments and setbacks, it’s easy to lose our thirst. We used to be passionate about being the best at our job, starting a business, meeting the right person, but we’ve settled where we are, thinking that it’s not meant to be.
But God didn’t create you to live in mediocrity, to just go through the motions of life.
You have to get thirsty again. 🥤😀

Today’s Scripture says that if you’re going to see good things—healing, breakthroughs, and favor—you have to stay thirsty. That means you have to keep believing for your dreams, keep expecting new doors to open, keep declaring favor over your children, keep speaking promises over your health. God didn’t put a dream in your heart that He can’t bring to pass. There’s not a problem you’re in that He can’t solve.
The question is, Are you thirsty?

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the thirst You put in me to see my dreams fulfilled and to pursue the right goals. Thank You that I can live my life passionately, with zeal in my heart to become all You created me to be. I believe that You will satisfy me with good things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Today's Scripture 75

Psalm 107:9, TLB

For he satisfies the thirsty soul and fills the hungry soul with good.
