If you don't know what you want, and if you don't pray to God, if you don't call out to God certain desires, then it's hard for Him to grant you. God gives you free will and watches which direction you go. And He helps you on this journey. He brings you the people, the resources, and everything to achieve your dreams as high as possible.
If you know what to do but don't know what you need to do it, it's not up to God to guide you. And why? If you don't ask for what you need, God won't give it to you. Why would He? He won't interfere with your free will, right?
What do I mean specifically? You have a general intention to start a business. Let's say - a publishing house. And you pray to God - God, I want to start a publishing house and I would like it to be the best publishing house in the state.
"Okay," God says, "what next?"
And you still pray in general terms like this. What does God have to do with it? But if you pray - God, I need a secretary, I want to find the most dedicated secretary, I also need an office - I would like to find an office in the center for a low rent, I also need a business partner - one who will not betray me and will be an asset to the company... etc.
Do you see the difference between Targeted🎯 and General Prayer?
God is on your side and if you set out on a journey - He will help you. However, the more specific your prayers, your wishes, are, the easier God will work with you.
So make it easy for him and wish for specific things and use targeted prayers🎯 leading to a direct result. For the common good, the prayer here is general. So it is better to pray than not to pray, but keep in mind that:
GENERAL PRAYER brings GENERAL BENEFIT
and
TARGETED prayer AIMS🎯 at YOUR SPECIFIC GOALS.
